dot dot dot
i wanted the title of this entry to be actually just ... but i typed in the word dot thrice instead because wala lang i just want to. haha labo.
i seem to have gotten over my need to buy new books faster than i can read them. my cousin and i dropped by two powerbooks outlets earlier this evening and i find myself half-heartedly looking at the shelves, not picking up anything, when a few weeks before a trip to a bookstore whether it is powerbooks or booksale would be the highlight of a mall outing. maybe it's because i don't have that much money right now and i needed new jeans and chucks (because we don't have to wear our white uniforms anymore! whee!) or maybe it's because reading is the last thing i want to do when i get home after the review during weekends, or maybe i am usually too distracted by other things i can do here at home to read. although i am trying to read twilight right now, as i still need something to do when i am not watching tv or staring at the ceiling. hehe.
anyway, the good news is...
actually i have two good news-es (hehehe) one, we are finally done with the exit interview, and two, i am finally brace free after n years of wearing them! yipee!! i still have to wear retainers though, but i don't have them on in these photos because those things gave me speech defects and i can't bear to have a speech impairment while i am on my interview. haha on my first week on retainers i can't pronounce the letter r without people who could hear me mistaking it for the letter l and i have a lisp on the s words. haha. i am getting used to wearing them but my speech is still a bit impaired. oh well.
i made this collage thingie using ms powerpoint because i don't have photoshop on my laptop. i wanted to kill myself at the middle of making this thing because i can't make it look right and the stuff i can do with the pictures is very limited. hahaha.
the exit interview is required for all graduating students, i know even people from other schools have them, but ours must have been the only school that requires their students to answer questions related to some random concept that we ought to have learned in our previous subjects rather than the usual how was your stay in the school and what can you suggest to further improve the quality of education in this said school. or something like that anyway. in fairness to them though, we were given the topics to study about a week before the interview, but still there was too much stuff to remember and maybe if you are really really unlucky you might get asked a question on the concept that you didn't get to study. i had a bit of a blonde moment during my turn but luckily i think i got by with my awesome personality and people skills.or at least i hope so. hehe.
we have enormous amounts of free time as of the moment because we are already done with our hospital duties and lectures, but we do have to be in school on weekends (including sundays!) because that is the time our review is scheduled. our in-house reviewers are effing great, especially the fresh grads. i find them so great that it made me want to be a lecturer instead of working in a hospital. actually i haven't decided yet what kind of nurse i wanted to be. i was asked this question during my interview and i gave them a really flaky answer by saying that i haven't decided between the OR, ER, and ICU. so anyway, i wish i can put this free time into good use, but so far i have done nothing but watch movies, go online, and stare at the ceiling and the wall. hehe
well am off to stare at the wall some more. hahaha
