i have just finished the grey's anatomy marathon friday night. well not really, as my cousin is downloading the 10th episode of season 3 as i write this, and i haven't really started with the new season. the beauty of buying dvd cardboard sets (hehe) is that i didn't have to wait 7 more days to see what's going to happen next. and now that i am done with season 2, and i think i will probably be done with the 10 season 3 episodes in about a few days, i would have to wait 7 days until the next episode like everyone else. maybe more because we have to download it first and we have to wait until somebody shares it on the internet.

mcvet vs mcdreamy

personally i don't see the appeal of mcdreamy that much. and it's not really fair choosing between him and the mcvet because meredith and everyone else has just met the vet and have known him for about 3 episodes while mcdreamy has been there since episode 1. so mcdreamy has the unfair advantage.

mcdreamy is a coward. and stupid. because addison is hot.  and leggy and fabulous and brilliant. if he really loved meredith more than his wife, he could have chosen the intern from the start. so he tried to do the right thing, but he could have at least tried to make an effort to love addison too. and don't you find it weird that he only starts seducing meredith again when he sees her with the vet? mga lalaki talaga

anyway, i spent the first week of the year getting sick. hope that doesn't mean that i will be getting sick a lot this year. i wish i could just lie down in bed all day but i can't because i have work to do. that' s the thing about taking up a medical course, you can't be a big baby about fever or cough or asthma or colds. if you can still get up and go to the bathroom by yourself, then it's not serious.

seriously meredith, how could you choose derek over finn?

haha sorry i just saw episode 4 of season 3. and i won't be watching the rest of season 3 so far until tomorrow just because i want something to look forward to. if i watch all 10 episodes today, i won't have something to be busy with tomorrow. well i do have projects, but who wants to do those in advance? hehe

seriously the grey's anatomy writers put that expression a lot in their script. i sometimes use that expression myself when talking with other people who haven't seen a grey's anatomy episode ever in their lives. stupid show. hehe.

i sure am gonna miss them interns, residents, and attendings (especially dr bailey hehe)  when i am done with the 10 episodes and will be forced to wait for a little while before i could see the rest of the season.

i want my mcdreamy too.

mostly clinical stuff, too many to mention and remember (hehe), travelled to the US alone

new years' resolutions are not made to be kept longer than a month. haha. actually, this is the first year that i did not make an actual list. was too busy and too pissed off with school stuff to do so

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
yep. my cousin's wife. whee!

nope. well we weren't that close, but RIP aaron.

just the US.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
patience. i think this is the key to my happiness. really.

none. because if it's etched into my memory then i would have an answer to this question. haha.

hm... oh i dunno. 2006 was a so-so year. i think when i am old and wrinkly i will look back at 2005 then go right ahead to 2007 because i could not remember anything special or horrifying that has happened last year.

still comsci. sorry i can't and won't be letting go of this thing until i finally graduate next year. i hope.

does excessive loss of sleep count?

my black ipod video. bought it with my own money. actually with the money people gave me when i visited the US.

all my professors last sem. damn now that was a good semester.

food, ipod, nursing books, and face stuff

taking the final exams because that means i am one more semester closer to earning my BSN degree

when you remember your dreams for two nights in a row, and on the first night you dream about making out with a guy, and on the second night you dream about wanting to get it on with a different guy, what does it mean? that you secretly want to be slutty? or the dreamer just feels lonely at the moment?

 but the dreamer never feels lonely. in fact, sometimes she prefers solitude and silence, because she grew up in a house full of people therefore for her silence is truly golden. she cherishes her me-time so much that she does everything alone, from watching movies to running errands to dental and medical appointments.

the dreamer just wishes that these dreams would stop. or that she wouldn't remember them when she wakes up in the morning because when she isn't busy with anything, this pops into her head and she gets weird and gets lured to dark side.  

foundation week sa school, so wala kaming duty. yay. 3 days na walang pasok. actually nasa sa yo kung gusto mo pumasok kasi kasali na sa tuition fee ung tickets for the band (hale at sugarfree pero kung up dharma down at urbandub yan kahit wala ako kasamang kaibigan pupunta ako!), ung parang pageant thingie, battle of the bands, etc etc. ang pupuntahan lang naming magkakaibigan ay ung bingo kasi meron kaming one in a million chance of winning 40,000 pesos. hehe.

napadaan ako sa myx na channel kagabi at laking gulat ko na kinakanta ng 6 cycle mind ang prinsesa (na unang kinanta ng teeth), bossa nova version. or ewan basta mabagal siya. ngek ang weird. gusto ko kasi ung kanta. pero parang nung kalagitnaan ng version nila parang umo-ok na. well sabi nga nila, bossa is the new acoustic. haha weird.

 speaking of weird, kaya pala ako nagiging weirdo lately ay dahil sa nagppms ako. congrats meron na ko ngayon. ayoko talaga ng pms nakakainis siya. saya siguro ng early menopause noh? yun nga lang at the same time pwede ka magkaroon ng heart problems including hypertension, osteoporosis, at kung ano ano pa. nakalimutan ko na eh, yan kasi ung topic namin last sem hehe.

sa wakas na download na rin ng pinsan ko ung last week's episode ng grey's anatomy. panonoorin ko siya maya maya pagtapos ko manood ng rerun ng american idol. wow ang bilis, american idol season na ulit. yun nga lang may duty ako pag thursday at late ang class ko pag wednesday. buti na lang every 2 hours ang rerun sa starworld. hehe.

not really. kasi nakatayo ako lagi pag nasa duty eh mabigat ang dinadala ng mga paa ko so sumasakit sila minsan tapos pag lecture naman ang sikip ng uniform ko kaya minsan ang hirap maging cheerful pag nasa class ako

wala lang. i was watching american idol and there was some guy who sang this beautifully for his audition. elliott yamin still did a better job, but hey that's just me.  

i still yet have to decide whether i like the night shift or not. i know i shouldn't complain, because our group lucked out with being in the OR/DR for our night shift while other groups have to be stuck in the ER or the ward. this means that we can actually sleep while the others not only have to stay awake but do some actual work, like vital signs, meds, etc. surgeries are scheduled during mornings anyway so we only luck out with cases if someone's gonna drop by the hospital to give birth or if there has been a terrible accident and an emergency surgery is needed. so most of the time we just lounge around in the OR in our scrubs, playing 1-2-3 pass or tong its (i never join in when it's tong its already because i prefer pusoy dos), chatting, sharing chismis, or in my case, sleep. we were supposed to be all smushed together on the beds or on the mattresses on the floor but i usually bring my own sleeping bag and pillow because i feel uncomfortable sleeping next to another human body.

i didn't get any sleep last night though. i usually sleep on the delivery room floor (it's icky i know but when you're tired and sleepy, you actually don't care anymore, and besides, i have a sleeping bag) while my other groupmates are on the PACU (the place where the patient goes after the surgery to wait until the anesthesia wears off) , which is connected to the delivery room. anyway, i have two groupmates who can "see" and they told me that the last time i was in the DR, sleeping, somebody else was in there with me. i was kinda freaked out of course, because the DR is really scary and dark when it's empty and the delivery/OR table looks some kind of torture device. so i had to pull my sleeping bag in the PACU as well where there are 10 other people talking, and the lights are on because almost everyone is afraid of the dark.

i went home around 5:30 this morning and woke up at 11 to catch the american idol rerun. and i'm still sleepy. this shift is messing up my sleeping pattern. and i have to adjust to my normal body clock come monday because i have an 8 am class. yay.

i hope i can go back to my usual spot at the DR tonight. i hate not sleeping when it's still dark outside.
