harry potter and a host of other things
gof was great. in my opinion, it was probably the best hp movie so far. it was funny and way better than poa. i was in tears even before voldemort hissed out the words "kill the spare". poor cedric. he was cute, but not really my type. and it was such a shame that he had to die because he was such a nice guy and a gentleman. for those who have read the book, remember in poa, he suggested a rematch (even if they had already won the game!) when he found out that harry had collapsed due to a demento attack when they were chasing after the snitch. he also wanted harry to take the triwizard cup eventhough cedric was the obvious winner of the maze task all because harry saved his life. yes, cedric will be missed. he was an important character in the series because his death was the reason why harry could see thestrals in ootp. i loved the character choice for krum (because he's hot) and disappointed with cho chang's. not that i am in a position to say this, but katie leung is not pretty enough for the role. well i wanted to watch the movie again because i felt that i wasn't able to absorb the movie in its entirety due to the fact that most of the time i was answering my friends' (who didn't read the book) inquiries. they claimed that they can't really relate to some of the events in the movie, what is the significance of the ghosts of the people whom voldemort have killed being there at the duel scene, and neville's peculiar reaction when he saw moody perform the cruciatus curse on the engorged spider. i felt that the priori incantem thing was not explained clearly enough and if i wasn't such a potter fan and have read each book in the series at least 4 times each, i wouldn't have understood it either. however, unfortunately for me i can't watch the movie again because i don't have money. hehe.
i know this entry is a bit too late, but i am still sorry that the gaghans got eliminated in the amazing race. they were one of the few families that didn't argue with each other all the time. daddy and mommy gaghan never lost their temper, and they kept on encouraging their children and praised them even for the little things like running to the clue box. i love the linz family though, they're such funny guys. they always get smoked whenever the mode of transportation is a boat because the team comprises of 3 big guys and megan's not exactly tiny isn't she? and what is up with the weavers? they kept on saying that they were trying to live a christian life blah blah and yet they were being nasty to the other teams. i mean nastiness is not new in a contest like tar, but other teams do it for strategy while the weavers do it just because of pure spite.
can i just say that sam milby is too cute for
words? i dunno if he's really cute or am just a sucker for his accent
but what the heck, i like him anyway. i don't like his songs though,
especially the one he did with say. i have been watching pbb faithfully
since 2 weeks ago and it has been a guilty pleasure. it has been
something to look forward to after a long day in school. is pbb really
a teleserye ng totoong buhay or is it scripted? coz it certainly looks
like it sometimes
