The Fifth Marauder

*yep everything happens for a reason. i know i have been dancing around this topic for months now, and only just lately have i realized it fully. see, my mom needed a new kidney because hers aren't fully functional anymore. it was painful hearing about her treatments for the time being that there is now new donor. mom has to have her blood cleaned out and filtered like thrice a week. yep, blood. i don't know how they do that so don't ask me. i can't be the donor coz the disease is hereditary, i might have it too. so they just placed her name under the waiting list for new kidneys, and the doctor said that it might take like 2-3 years for a donor to be available.  and then just last week, my tita called to tell me that suddenly there is an available kidney. at first i thought that maybe there is a kind soul out there who's willing to give up his/her other kidney for a complete stranger. but no. the kindey is from hawaii and is arriving in chicago in a grass skirt (hehe corny), and apparently the original owner of the kidney has been in a car accident and he's dead. i really felt bad that we are profitting from another person's death. so rest in peace kind stranger. i bet god will give you brownie points for that

 *i was watching the avril lavigne/simple plan concert in the philippines last sunday on tv and i would have to say that sp's vocalist is pretty cute. actually the way he dresses is. my cousin and i were talking about it, and we both agreed that on another person the same outfit might have looked so jolog-y. damn good-looking people. they can wear whatever they want and make it look like a fashion statement

 *i wanted to wring padme's pretty little neck when anakin turned over to the dark side. he was the chosen one for crying out loud.

*my tita brought home calcium vitamins that tastes suspiciously like tootsie roll. it's so good that we never forget to take our vitamins anymore. although she still had to remind us that one piece a day is the maximum dosage. damn. 

*i hate the color white. and i am about to hate it even more come june coz i will be wearing white literally from head to toe five times a week.

*i love bo but i want carrie to win.

*is it bad to not want god's gift? go handmaids of the lord!!

*brooke burke the artwork version is pretty hot. my cousin got me hooked on need for speed 2. i have started playing last monday and i still suck.
