The Fifth Marauder

and since the month has turned to red, it is time for the red entry again.

 for the nth time i just wanted to say that i hate it when my period comes. i am such an emotional wreck that even i cannot keep up with it anymore! i get so angelic and sweet and nice one minute, and act like bitchy spoiled brat the next. i just hate being a girl! sure we do have a lot of clothing and accessory options, plus being kikay is fun, but it is so not worth it. it so not worth riding an emotional roller coaster for at least 2 weeks  a month.

 so guys please undeerstand why your girlfriends/mothers/sisters/ even teachers act bitchy. if you had blood spewing out from a part of your body you would act just the same!

well i have been putting off on watching this dvd for weeks now, probably because the title suggested blood and gore, and being sick myself and then blood spewing off from one of the holes in my body (haha), i wasn't in the mood for it. but last night, i had no other choice it's either that or abs-cbn and gma primetime tv. not that i have anything against their shows but... (i think this is better left unsaid).

surprise surprise, there was a dead body on the floor lying in its own blood shown in the first few minutes of the movie. the whole story revolved around these two guys, who found themselves waking up chained to a pipe in a dirty bathroom, with the dead body between them. oh and they didn't know each other, and they have completely different lifestyles and personalities. lawrence is a doctor, while adam is a photographer. lawrence was instructed to kill adam before 6 pm or his wife and kid dies. but of course he doesn't want to. 

 so they were thinking of ways to get out of there without lawrence actually killing adam. but that is not what i want to rant about. i have to admit, the story was brilliant. it made me think that some of the other characters in the movie are the killers, but it was finally revealed at the end. of course. no it was not the psycho orderly in the hospital where the doctor works in, nor the former police officer who instructed adam to take pictures of doctor gordon (who was one of the suspects of the past crimes commited by the same person who brought them there) , but it was the dead guy on the floor, who turned out to be one of dr gordon's patients.

 as you can see, the killer is not killed in the end. the 2 people who were locked in the bathroom? i think the audience was left to wonder what happened to them, but let me tell you about the last scene of the movie: dr gordon limps out of the room, having cut off his foot that was chained to the pipe, promising adam (who got shot at his right shoulder) that he will get help. and then the dead body in the middle of the room stirs, wakes up, closes the only door to the bathroom and says : game over. and then the scene faded to black and the credits rolled in.

 my mouth dropped open and i was in shock for about 6 seconds. and then when i recovered, i have to stop myself from hurling the dvd remote towards the tv. but i have to admit though, the crazy person who wrote the story was a freakin genius. maybe i am just stuck in the walt disney phase where in all stories must have a happy ending, even for suspense thrillers like this.

this was a bad week for reality tv. among all the reality shows around, i have been loyal to american idol and the amazing race ever since. but not right now when these things happen.

 first off, the amazing race. i have been rooting for the brothers ever since their memorable footrace to the mat with ray and deanna (which was just last week incidentally). and i thought maybe, just maybe, they can win the race. please. anyone but rob and amber. but after last night's episode, from the moment they got the directions to the water tower all wrong, i knew right then and there that they would be eliminated. i mean, ron and kelly, rob and amber, and uchenna and joyce are already almost through with their detours when the brothers got lost. but i did not lose hope. i was on my feet when phil asked meredith and gretchen to go back to the roadblock because they forgot to pluck the clue off a leafless small tree. i liked the oldies, but i love the brothers more. i was jumping around (reminiscient of last week's scenario) hoping that i am wrong. but it turns out, i am not. the brothers were the last team to arrive. i felt so bad, i think i even got a little teary-eyed. i mean with everyone else in the race either being uptight bitches or just being plain stupid, brian and greg finds the lighter side to every bad situation they get into. they never lose their cool, and they are such adorable dorks that one cannot not love them. with the brothers out of the race, as much as i hate to say this, but rob and amber has a really huge chance of winning. the odds are really in their favor. i know i could see it from the start, with them being experts at being sneaky and playing dirty on the account of them having been in 2 survivor shows, along with their fan base (who suddenly shows up and helps them) they are irritatingly unstoppable. and the people they have to compete against? oh man. ron and kelly has just started being nasty with each other. there is no way meredith and gretchen  could win a footrace. uchenna and joyce kept on getting lost wherever place they go to. and finally lynn and alex, hmm now thinking about it i guess they can be a match to rob and amber, if only the boyfriends would stop being aware of rob and amber's every move and concentrate on their own race. now i noticed that every team i root for in this particular batch of teams gets eliminated, so go rob and amber!!! hahaha

 american idol was just as disappointing. judging from last night's performances, i have really thought that scott, nadia, and anthony are this week's bottom three, and either of the 2 boys is going home. imagine my shock when scott, nikko, and vonzell were announced as the lowest vote getters. i mean vonzell was doing better every week! and i was even more shocked when ryan announced that scott is safe and nikko is going home. boo.  i really think that anthony federov should have gone before jessica sierra. sure the boy is cute, but the other contestants in this season can sing way better than him. ah, the jasmine trias curse.  i guess we all have to bear with him for a really long time or maybe he is the next american idol coz he has a huge fanbase who just looks at his face and forgets what he sounds like. i have to admit though, the boy looks best in blue   go carrie! go bo! oh now i might be bringing my TAR jinx on american idol so go anthony! go constantine!! haha
